If the so-called ‘means of grace’ are laid out as nothing more than duties, the hinge of sanctification is obligation. We receive forgiveness according to the riches of God’s grace, and grace drives our sanctification. Paul tells us, “the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives”.

through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God.

Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

Through him we have also obtained access. Standing in Grace. by James Smith, "Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace wherein we we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.".

And the second answer is given in Romanswhere Paul says that while we stand in grace by faith “we exult in hope of the glory of God.” In other words, the glory of God is our hope and our salvation and our exultation — our joy.

We don’t just call on the name of the Lord to get something else. Similarly, grace is seen as being in the midst of our present Christian life. In Romans Paul speaks of gaining "access by faith into this grace in which we now stand" and in of grace reigning "through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.".

By Grace Through Faith. 1 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body 1 and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath.

MEV through whom we also have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and so we rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Understanding the riches of God's grace will leave no doubt in your mind that you are precious in His sight. In The Grace in Which We Stand, Dr. Stanley teaches from Romans that our only access to God the Father, without exception, is always through the person of Jesus Christ the e of the shed blood of Jesus and His righteousness, we can come to the throne of grace with boldness.

GRACE AND LAW. John adds, “Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given” (). That is exactly what the text says—but what does it mean. It does not mean “grace on top of grace” or “one grace after another,” like Christmas presents piled up under a Christmas tree, one blessing after another.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. come. Hebrews Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus. By definition, the word grace means unmerited, unearned, undeserved favor.

Therefore, the good news is, grace has nothing to do with you. Grace existed before you ever came to be. Another way of saying it is, grace is God’s part. Faith is defined as being a positive response to what God has already provided by grace.

In other words, faith is. “Through whom (our Lord Jesus Christ) we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.” The Apostle Paul asserts that this peace is a result of grace (unmerited favor) and is the very source of our present standing with God.

Another song that comes to mind regarding this point is “Grace Alone”. Those who have faith: “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God” (Romans ).

Peace and Hope. 5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we [] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.

And we [] boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we [] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance.

We stand, rather, in this grace, empty of any expectation of meriting God’s acceptance, but full of confident rejoicing because of this immoveable certainty: that we now stand, by sheer gift, sheer grace, in the presence and the glory of God and are not afraid – ‘we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God we also rejoice in God.
