The book starts with the Greek origin myth and goes on to give a pretty good summary of most of the major Greek gods. Though many of the more well-known myths (Jason and the Argonauts, Hercules, etc) are only mentioned in passing, you're given a run down of the Pantheon with stories that most people haven't heard of.
